Tips for Moving Safely Amid Coronavirus Concerns

What Century Does

  • Our employees’ temperatures are taken prior to dispatch
  • Our employees wear masks and gloves
  • Our truck cabs are disinfected daily
  • No more than two employees in a truck cab
  • Our employees maintain social distancing with customers
  • Updates employees on current safety recommendations and regulations
  • Has staff ready to answer your questions and address your concerns
  • Connects with industry associations and outside resources for best practices

*Please note that it is difficult for our crew members to breathe in masks while performing rigorous moving labor and they may remove their masks occasionally when outside or away from customers to enable efficient breathing practices.

What You Can Do

  • Be prepared to move

For example, if you are packing, have everything packed before we arrive

  • Have minimal people on your team at residence for social distancing

We recommend one or two people maximum

  • Disinfect surfaces in your new home
    • After the movers leave
    • Before unpacking
    • After unpacking
  • Remove debris as soon as you have finished unpacking
  • Maintain social distancing from our crew members
  • Wear a mask and gloves during the move
  • Do not touch your face during the move without washing your hands first
  • Wash hands after the move is complete
